Dr. Zapf has presented nationally on assistive technology, pediatric occupational therapy, therapy interventions for children with Autism/PDD-NOS, and sensory processing disorders, and animal assisted therapy services.

Dr. Zapf has taught courses on assistive technology for Doctoral Pediatric Science students at Rocky Mountain University for Health Professions (RMUoHP) and clinical instructor for occupational therapy students.

She has provided webinars for assistive technology assessment and special education implementation through RESNA and ATIA.

Dr. Zapf has trained school district on the MATCH-ACES assessment and educational professionals on assistive technology assessment.

She has also provided parent training inservices on topics including pediatric development, feeding issues, play, sensory integration, assistive technology, and occupational therapy interventions
